I've been crazy about hair products for quite some time now. Definitely more than make-up! Check out some of my essentials below...

SHAMPOO: Kerastase Resistance Bain Therapiste Shampoo | MASQUE: Kerastase Nutritive Masquintense Thick Hair Masque | TONING BALM: Shu Uemura Color Lustre Cool Shades Reviving Balm | DRY SHAMPOO: IGK First Class Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo | HAIR DRYER: t3 Cura Luxe Hair Dryer | HAIR STYLING SPRAY: Kerastase Discipline Fluidissime AntiFrizz Spray | HAIR BRUSH: Wet Brush Detangle Hair Brush
These products are my absolute must-haves for maintaining my -do! My hair texture is pretty dry because that's it's nature and also because I color it. I rotate my shampoo and conditioner 2-3 times a year because hair does have memory and it pretty much gets used to the product you use. But one of my favorite go-to's is the Resistance Bain Therapiste Shampoo and Nutritive Masquintense Thick Hair Masque by Kerastase. My hair always feels moisturized after a good washing!
Another absolute must-have for maintaining my blonde color is the Color Lustre Shades Reviving Balm by Shu Uemura. I swear by this purple shampoo! One of the challenges I have as a blonde is toning down the brassiness. Before I started going to a good salon for highlights, I used to have orange-ish hair color... yikes! Well now I see an amazing colorist (thank you Telima at Cut Hairdressing) who not only picks a great hair color but knows how to tone it! However, in-between hair appointments I use this purple shampoo at least one a week to keep the brassiness in check! Word of advice - make sure to follow the instructions on the website on how to use so you get the most out of this product!
I have been a huge fan of t3 products for a while now. I bought my first straightener from them in 2005. And I am in love with their hair dryer. It dries my hair a lot faster than other brands I've used (and I have a thick head of hair!). Highly recommend this product!
Another issue I have with my hair is it's frizziness - most especially when it's humid. I've been using the Fluidissime Anti-Frizz Spray by Kerastase for several years now and it definitely keeps the frizz down and the shine up!
An absolute must-have post-shower is the Wet Brush Detangle Hair Brush especially for those of you gals with long locks! Also, a must-have for girls with semi-permanent extensions! I love that this hair brush gently detangles hair - seriously, it's painless!
And last but not least... I am a huge fan of the Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo by IGK. I just started using this in the summer of 2018. It came recommended by an associate at Sephora. First of all, the value is amazing! I'm still not finished with the bottle I bought last year (amazing!!)! I use this 2-3 times a week as I try to only wash my hair twice, at most three, times a week. Additionally, it smells great and doesn't weigh down your hair like other dry shampoos. I'll definitely be repurchasing this dry shampoo when I eventually run out!
FYI, if you shop the Kerastase and/or She Uemura products using the links above, you will get 20% off plus free shipping!
Hope these recommendations help you maintain your -do!
always,
